Bremont's latest release, the Supermarine 500 Full Ceramic in Deep Blue, marks another stride in the brand's ongoing evolution under the leadership of CEO Davide Cerrato. Following previous ventures into various complications and materials, including earlier ceramic models, this new dive watch brings a fresh aesthetic to the robust Supermarine collection.

This Deep Blue variant builds upon the foundation of its predecessors, incorporating a striking black dial with a wave pattern that provides excellent contrast for its white Super-LumiNova markers. The timepiece maintains the Supermarine 500’s substantial 43mm case diameter and 13mm thickness, boasting a water resistance of 500 meters and a helium escape valve. Notably, the watch integrates titanium for the bezel, crown, and inner case, ensuring a lightweight yet highly durable construction, while maintaining a cohesive deep blue coloration across all materials.

Powering this new Supermarine is the Bremont BB64AH caliber, based on the Sellita SW300 movement. This upgraded mechanism features an extended 56-hour power reserve and incorporates several enhancements for precision and resilience, such as an antimagnetic Glucydur balance wheel and a Nivaflex mainspring. The meticulous color-matching between the ceramic case and titanium components is a testament to Bremont's attention to detail, creating a seamless visual appeal despite the varied materials.

The Bremont Supermarine Full Ceramic Deep Blue is a limited edition of 250 pieces, available with various strap options including a NATO, black rubber, or a blue hybrid leather and rubber, all priced at approximately $7,220 USD. This release reflects Bremont's strategic direction to embrace material innovation and contemporary design while preserving the core functionality and ruggedness expected of a high-performance dive watch. The combination of lightweight, scratch-resistant ceramic with the strength of titanium addresses practical considerations for a diver’s watch, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to horological engineering.
