Frederick Goldman Inc. (FGI) has announced substantial shifts within its executive team, promoting Bryan Cowan to Chief Operating Officer and Tom Schwartz to Chief Marketing Officer. These strategic advancements are part of an ongoing evolution in the company's leadership, designed to fortify its operational capabilities and sharpen its market presence. The dual appointments underscore FGI's commitment to leveraging internal talent and experienced professionals to drive future growth and innovation in the jewelry sector.

Bryan Cowan, a scion of the Goldman family, assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer after demonstrating versatile leadership across several critical departments. His tenure at FGI has encompassed independent sales, operational management, US manufacturing oversight, product development, and global sourcing. This diverse background has provided Cowan with a comprehensive understanding of both the commercial and operational facets of the business, making him an ideal candidate to steer FGI's operational strategies. Jonathan Goldman, Chairman and CEO, lauded Cowan's progression, noting his proven ability to excel in increasingly complex responsibilities and his deep insight into customer needs and business mechanics. In his new capacity, Cowan will oversee all operational aspects, including manufacturing, distribution networks, information technology, strategic planning, and international operations.

Concurrently, Tom Schwartz, a veteran with three decades of experience in marketing, steps into the Chief Marketing Officer position. Schwartz will now be responsible for integrating the company's marketing, merchandising, and customer care functions. He will also maintain his oversight of independent sales, working in close collaboration with Vice President of Sales Alisa Bunger. Goldman emphasized Schwartz's profound knowledge of FGI, its clientele, and the broader industry. This consolidated leadership aims to create a more cohesive alignment from product inception through to the customer experience, ensuring seamless continuity as the company progresses.

The leadership changes also coincide with the departure of John Orrico, who served as President for over 13 years. Orrico made significant contributions to FGI, notably in manufacturing technology, system implementation, and the company's relocation from New York City to Secaucus. FGI expressed gratitude for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors. Amidst these executive transitions, Frederick Goldman Inc. remains dedicated to its retail partners, focusing on advancements in product development, manufacturing processes, and technological innovation. This includes the continued development of FreddySM, FGI's pioneering real-time parametric jewelry design platform. The company, a family-owned enterprise spanning nearly eight decades, continues to prioritize customer focus and agile adaptation within the evolving market, driven by an experienced leadership team and a clear strategic vision.
