MeisterSinger, a brand renowned for its distinctive single-hand timepieces that advocate a more deliberate experience of time, proudly unveils its latest limited edition: the Edition Unitas 1Z Blue. This new offering marks a significant milestone as it features the brand's first-ever colored enamel dial, building upon the legacy of the original 2004 Edition 1Z, which pioneered the use of genuine enamel in MeisterSinger watches. The Edition Unitas 1Z Blue encapsulates the appealing qualities of its predecessor while introducing a fresh aesthetic with its captivating blue hue.

The Edition Unitas 1Z Blue is meticulously crafted within a 40mm stainless steel case, specifically designed for this series. The case harmoniously blends brushed sides with a polished bezel and lugs, creating a classic silhouette. Its thoughtful proportions allow the movement to comfortably fill the interior space. A prominent fluted crown, adorned with MeisterSinger's distinctive fermata emblem, further enhances its vintage-inspired charm. Both the dial and the intricate movement are showcased through sapphire crystals on the front and back, with the exhibition caseback individually numbered. The timepiece boasts a water resistance of 50 meters, ensuring durability and practicality.

While the initial white enamel edition paid homage to the brand's 2004 model, this new iteration ventures into uncharted territory by presenting MeisterSinger's inaugural colored enamel dial. Employing traditional grand feu techniques, finely milled enamel powder is painstakingly applied to a copper base, then subjected to multiple firings at temperatures nearing 800°C. This meticulous process results in a dial of extraordinary depth and luminosity.

The resultant light blue dial is characterized by its remarkable visual depth and radiant quality. It features crisp black hour numerals, complemented by subtle medium-blue accents that denote 30-minute intervals and elapsed minutes on the inner track, alongside discrete touches of red. Consistent with other MeisterSinger models, the dial's layout centers around the brand's iconic single-hand display. Double-digit hour markers and a peripheral minute track enable wearers to gauge time with an approximate accuracy of five minutes. A slender, heat-blued steel hand elegantly completes the time indication.

Driving this exquisite timepiece is the manually wound ETA/Unitas 6497 movement. Originally conceived for pocket watches, its generous dimensions are ideally suited for the 40mm case of the Edition Unitas 1Z Blue. For this special edition, the movement receives elevated decorative treatments, including refined Geneva stripes, blued screws, and a traditional swan-neck fine-adjustment regulator, enhancing both its visual appeal and precision. Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of approximately 46 hours, ensuring reliable performance.

The watch is elegantly presented on a mahogany calfskin leather strap, embossed with a sophisticated crocodile pattern and secured with a double-folding clasp. Limited to an exclusive run of just 25 pieces, the MeisterSinger Edition Unitas 1Z Blue is scheduled for release in September 2026, with a retail price of EUR 6,990. This limited edition not only celebrates the brand's heritage but also pushes the boundaries of its design language with the introduction of a colored enamel dial, offering a unique blend of tradition and innovation for discerning collectors.
