A special new ice cream flavor, 'Vogue à la Mode,' has been introduced at Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream, marking a unique collaboration. This limited-time offering, a refreshing mint blended with crisp chocolate espresso honeycomb, pays homage to Vogue's latest summer publication. The issue commemorates America's 250th anniversary and prominently features Gracie Abrams on its cover. To celebrate this launch, a vibrant block party was held on a recent Tuesday evening in the Lower East Side, hosted by Chloe Malle. Despite the inclement weather, a diverse gathering of editors, designers, models, chefs, authors, and friends of Vogue attended the festive occasion, eager to savor the new flavor and toast the magazine's summer edition.

The event drew numerous personalities, including Nara Smith, Jonathan Cohen (accompanied by his dog, Layla), Devyn Garcia, Sara Grace Wallerstedt, Gigi Burris, Tinx, Max Ortega, Indré Rockefeller, Charles Shaffer and Elizabeth Cordry Shaffer, Ifrah F. Ahmed, and Shilpa and Miro Uskokovic of Hani’s Bakery, Liana Satenstein, Anna Archibald, and Kevin Serai. Guests visited Morgenstern’s classic ice cream parlor for scoops before moving to a gallery showcasing Eddie Wrey’s photographs of the U.S. World Cup team and model Imaan Hammam. Adjacent to the venue, Iconic Magazines' windows displayed stacks of Vogue issues. Attendees, dressed in their finest summer attire, enjoyed the refreshments and perused the new magazine. Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen, a designer and CFDA/Vogue finalist, remarked that the ice cream embodied everything one could desire in a frozen treat, a sentiment echoed by Nara Smith, who praised its rich, dairy-forward taste. Smith also shared her recent culinary ventures, including homemade sprinkle ice cream inspired by Jeni's and a vanilla rhubarb crumble flavor.

Reflecting on the lively atmosphere, Smith noted that the event evoked nostalgic childhood memories of summer days spent with friends at ice cream shops. A group of Vogue Summer School students also joined the celebration, adding to the convivial mood. Amidst conversations, magazine flipping, and ice cream enjoyment, a minor incident—a spilled cup of ice cream—only served to enhance the nostalgic ambiance of a classic summer afternoon, quickly remedied by a fresh scoop.

This gathering beautifully illustrated how shared simple pleasures, like ice cream and good company, can create memorable moments and foster a sense of community, connecting individuals from various walks of life in a joyful, celebratory environment.
